Here Some Few Homeworking Assessments That Will Help You to Achieve Better Posture

Indeed, maintaining a good posture is not something that we do, but how we build it. However, all the blame goes to leaning forward, slouching and other posture mistakes that have made our muscle week and lazy. With the widespread of COVID -19, people are being forced to do temporary home working. While working from a home-based office, the chances of building bad posture arises. Although, there is a certain way i.e., homeworker assessments that have helped many workers to avoid serious symptoms beforehand. The idea of home working assessment may sound a little complex, but the following points will help you to understand several ways and methods to achieve better posture.

  • Full body stretch:

Stand against the wall while placing your feet, hip, back and hands flat towards the wall as much as possible. While holding the same position, raise your hand above your head. However, try to avoid arching your back, as it may happen when you do it for the first time. If you find it difficult, then move a step ahead and do the same procedure. As you continue to do it, you may notice that your body automatically will try to come to its neutral position.

  • Neck stretch:

When we work on our phone, we tend to tilt our head forward and down. This bad posture is often known as a nerd or text neck while collapsing the shoulder and tensioning the muscles. To avoid this, look out for a door frame, and place your hip, head and feet as close towards the wall. Grab the door frame with your hands and merely touch the back of your head to the door. You may start to arch your neck, but try to come back to the position where it stretches your neck.

  • Clock stretch:

Start by facing the wall as much closer towards it while keeping your back straight. Raise your hands slowly from the shoulder level to the head and hold them for a minute. After when the one has passed, angle them away while keeping your arms straight, and then hold it a minute. Now try to keep your arms parallel towards the ground at your shoulder level for a minute. At this point, you may find it challenging to hold the position, while your palms facing upwards. However, this stretching is specially created for people who may find the above points to be challenging.
